Hot Melt Psa

This glue has a different job.

Most glues are made to stick forever. Not this one. Our hot melt psa is made for a special task. It must hold the pad on the underwear. But it must also come off cleanly. No sticky mess left behind. That is a fine balance. We spent a long time getting it right. When you sleep or move around, the pad stays in place. No shifting. No wrinkling. But when you change the pad, it peels off easy. In our factory tests, it left no residue. It did not damage the underwear. That is what 28 years of focus on user experience looks like.

The secret is low stickiness but high inner strength. We use an SIS base. Then we add special hydrogenated resins. This lowers the polarity of the glue. It makes it less sticky to other surfaces. The glue works at a mild 130-150°C. At 150°C, the melt viscosity is 1500-3000 mPa·s. That allows for very thin coating. But the real secret is inner strength. The glue holds itself together better than it sticks to the underwear. So when you peel it, the whole glue layer stays on the pad. It does not transfer. That is how our hot melt psa solves the old problem of dirty underwear.

We set the peel strength at a low level. 1-3 N/25mm. That is strong enough for a secure fit. But it is easy to peel. Our tests also show it can be re-stuck 1-3 times.

We use food-grade white oil. All raw materials have low odor and low allergy risk. No strong smell. Safe for sensitive skin. That is our hot melt psa.
