Why three dots?
That is how we apply it. Front, middle, back. Three separate dots. That is why we call it dots of glue. These three dots act like invisible claws. They hold the pad to the release paper. On the production line, they keep the product flat. No shifting. No wrinkling. Even during fast packing and shipping. But when the user opens the pack, it tears open easily. No glue left behind. A lot of customers ask us, "How do I stop the pad from moving inside the pack?" Three dots. That is the answer.
The formula is built for dot coating.
We use an SIS-based hot melt PSA system. We carefully adjust the softening point of the resin. We also adjust the compatibility of the plasticizer. This gives the glue a medium initial stickiness at 130-150°C. In our tests, it fixes the pad to the release paper in an instant. But it is not so sticky that the pack is hard to open. At 150°C, the melt viscosity is 2000-3500 mPa·s. That is the ideal range for dot coating. It forms round, even dots on high-speed applicators. No stringing. The softening point is 75-85°C. That keeps the dots stable during storage. No softening. No leaking.

This glue is made for low peel strength. Our lab measured 180° peel strength at 1-3 N/25mm.

The dots hold the product firmly. But a light pull separates them. Our customers say the pull is smooth. No force needed. That is the balance. High inner strength prevents migration. Even after 12 months, the glue does not move to the release paper. No stain on the pad. Your finger stays clean. That is our dots of glue.
