Some factories run hot.
Their equipment is set for high temperatures. Or they need extra heat resistance for summer storage. That is why we make our thermoplastic hot melt adhesive. The working temperature is 160-180°C. The glue has high inner strength and high heat resistance. It is used for barrier cuff elastic fixing and waistband bonding. Areas that need a very strong bond. We call it the heat-resistant fortress. In our tests, it keeps the product intact during hot summer storage. No glue flow. No sticking. No edge lifting. No bond failure.

The blend gives high inner strength.
We use SIS and SBS together. SIS gives elasticity. SBS gives strength and heat resistance. We build a strong 3D network. The melt viscosity at 160°C is 3000-6000 mPa·s. That is high. The glue layer must be thick enough for high stress. The softening point is 90-105°C. Much higher than normal. That gives excellent heat resistance.
Here is the heat resistance data.
In our 60°C/72 hour test, the glue does not soften, flow, or lift at the edges. The softening point of 90-105°C is far above the normal 80-95°C.

Peel strength is 12-20 N/25mm. That is 1.5-2 times normal. Holding power lasts over 72 hours at 40°C. Even under 2.5-3.5 times elastic stretch, it stays stable. We add a good antioxidant system. In our 180°C/24 hour tank test, color change (ΔE) is less than 3. No skin. No carbon. That is our thermoplastic hot melt adhesive.
