That is the idea behind our Medium Temperature Sanitary Napkin Adhesive. The working temperature is 140-160°C. It sits right between low-temp (120-140°C) and high-temp (160-180°C) glues. That makes it the top choice for most normal and mid-range pad production. It bonds top sheets, acquisition layers, breathable films, and elastics very well. And it does not burn thin materials. On our customers' lines, it brings great stability. A lot of customers ask us, "What is the safest temperature for most of my line?" 140-160°C. That is the sweet spot.
The formula is mature and reliable.
SIS base. Hydrogenated C5/C9 resin. Food-grade white oil. This classic formula gives stable performance and a wide processing window. At 150°C, the melt viscosity is 2500-4500 mPa·s. Works on all coating methods. Spiral spray. Fiber spray. Slot coating. On our line, the glue lines are fine and even. No stringing. No leaking. No clogging. The softening point is 80-90°C. The glue comes as light yellow clear pellets or blocks. We control every batch strictly.

180° peel strength is 6-10 N/25mm. Loop tack is 8-12 N/25mm. Holding power lasts over 48 hours at 40°C with a 1kg load.

Plasticizer migration is below 0.5%. No blocking of SAP. No migration to the top sheet. Works on lines of 500-800 pads per minute. Open time is 8-15 seconds. In our 70°C/72 hour heat aging test, color change (ΔE) is less than 2. No skin. No carbon. That is our Medium Temperature Sanitary Napkin Adhesive.
