The current industry standard for hot melt adhesives for sanitary napkins is HG/T 3948-2025, which will be implemented on March 1, 2026, and will completely replace the old standard HG/T 3948-2007.

Hot melt adhesives for sanitary napkins must meet strict industry standards and hygiene requirements. They must be non-toxic, odorless, and non-irritating to ensure no impact on the user's health. Simultaneously, the hot melt adhesive must also possess good weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and aging resistance to ensure that sanitary napkins maintain stable performance in various environments. Furthermore, to meet the needs of different sanitary napkin production, hot melt adhesives can be customized according to specific application scenarios and performance requirements, such as adjusting parameters like viscosity, curing speed, and color.
