A diaper has many layers.
Top nonwoven. Acquisition layer. Absorbent core. PE back sheet. Leak-proof cuffs. Our Diaper Structural Adhesive bonds them all. We call it the all-in-one engine. It covers every bonding station. From the top sheet to the back sheet. From the core to the waistband. It bonds many different materials. Nonwoven. PE. Fluff pulp. SAP. Tissue. And it must create a leak-proof seal. No side leaks. No back leaks. At the same time, the diaper must stay soft and breathable. That is a lot to ask from one glue.
We use a high-quality SIS base.
Then we add hydrogenated C5/C9 resin and food-grade white oil. This mature formula gives stable performance and a wide processing window. The working temperature is 140-160°C. At 150°C, the melt viscosity is 2500-4500 mPa·s. Works on all coating methods. Spiral spray. Fiber spray. Slot coating. The softening point is 80-95°C. The glue comes as light yellow clear pellets or blocks. We optimized how it wets absorbent materials like fluff pulp and SAP wrap.
