It has the widest range of uses. Our polyolefin hot melt bonds everything. Top sheet to acquisition layer. Core to back sheet. Back sheet to cuffs. Almost every area that needs permanent bonding uses this glue. We call it the universal binder. It has great versatility. Great stability. Great safety. A lot of customers ask us, "What glue should I stock the most of?" This one.
The formula is medium-temp, medium-stick.
SIS base. Hydrogenated C5/C9 resin. Food-grade white oil. This mature formula gives stable performance and a wide processing window. The working temperature is 140-160°C. At 150°C, the melt viscosity is 2500-4500 mPa·s. Works on all coating methods. Spiral spray. Fiber spray. Slot coating. The glue lines are fine and even. No stringing. No leaking. No clogging. The softening point is 80-95°C.

No blocking of SAP. No migration to the top sheet. Peel strength is 6-12 N/25mm. Loop tack is 8-15 N/25mm. Holding power lasts over 48 hours at 40°C. Works from -20°C to 60°C. No powdering. No brittleness. In our 70°C/72 hour heat aging test, color change (ΔE) is less than 2. No skin. No carbon. That is our polyolefin hot melt.
